yama uvāca | na me sthānaṃ parityaktuṃ tvayā yuktaṃ maheśvara | kailāsādadhikaṃ deva jāyate vacanādidam
Yama
Tirtha: Dharmāraṇya / Yama-sthāna (as implied by section)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Śiva (Mahēśvara)
Scene: Yama addresses Śiva with respectful firmness, urging him not to abandon Yama’s abode, proclaiming that by Śiva’s word the place becomes greater than Kailāsa.
A tīrtha’s greatness is established by divine presence and divine speech; Śiva’s word itself confers extraordinary sanctity.
Dharmāraṇya (implied as Yama’s place) is praised as becoming ‘greater than Kailāsa’ through Śiva’s word.
No direct rite is mentioned; the emphasis is on the sanctifying power of divine utterance and presence.
