उग्रेण तपसा कृत्वा क्लिश्यदात्मानमात्मना । तेनात्र वयमुद्विग्ना देवाः सर्वे सदाशिव । शरणं त्वामनुप्राप्ता यदिच्छसि कुरुष्व तत्
ugreṇa tapasā kṛtvā kliśyadātmānamātmanā | tenātra vayamudvignā devāḥ sarve sadāśiva | śaraṇaṃ tvāmanuprāptā yadicchasi kuruṣva tat
അവൻ ഉഗ്രതപസ്സു ചെയ്ത്, സ്വന്തം ഇച്ഛയാൽ സ്വയം തന്നെ പീഡിപ്പിച്ചു, ഞങ്ങളെ എല്ലാ ദേവന്മാരെയും വ്യാകുലരാക്കി, ഹേ സദാശിവാ! അതിനാൽ ശരണം തേടി ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നിനക്കിഷ്ടമുള്ളതു ചെയ്യുക।
