सूत उवाच । सत्यवाक्येन च तदा तोषितो रविनंदनः । उवाचैनां महाभाग्यो वरदोहं प्रयच्छ मे
sūta uvāca | satyavākyena ca tadā toṣito ravinaṃdanaḥ | uvācaināṃ mahābhāgyo varadohaṃ prayaccha me
സൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അവളുടെ സത്യവചനങ്ങളിൽ സന്തുഷ്ടനായ രവിനന്ദനൻ (യമൻ) ആ മഹാഭാഗ്യവതിയോട് പറഞ്ഞു—“ഞാൻ വരദാതാവാണ്; എന്നോട് വരം അപേക്ഷിക്ക.”
