Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 51
प्रत्युत्थानाभिवादादीन्न चक्रे सादरं नृपः । तिष्ठतो ब्राह्मणान्सर्वान्पर्यपृच्छदसौ ततः
pratyutthānābhivādādīnna cakre sādaraṃ nṛpaḥ | tiṣṭhato brāhmaṇānsarvānparyapṛcchadasau tataḥ
രാജാവ് ആദരത്തോടെ എഴുന്നേറ്റ് അഭിവാദ്യം, നമസ്കാരം മുതലായ ശിഷ്ടാചാരങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തില്ല. എല്ലാ ബ്രാഹ്മണരും നിൽക്കുമ്പോഴേ പിന്നീട് അവൻ അവരോട് ചോദിച്ചു.
