Transliteration

na dadāti kadā dānamevaṃ kālaḥ pravartate | labdhaśāsanakā viprā luptasvāmyā aharniśam

Translation

ആരും ഒരിക്കലും ദാനം നൽകുന്നില്ല; ഇങ്ങനെ കാലപ്രവാഹം നീങ്ങി. ശാസനശിക്ഷയുള്ള വിപ്രന്മാരും പകലും രാത്രിയും ആശ്രയദാതാവില്ലാതെ കഴിഞ്ഞു.
