कृते त्रेतायुगे चैव धर्मारण्यनिवासिनः । विप्रांस्तान्वै वृणुष्व त्वं तैरेव साधकोऽध्वरः
kṛte tretāyuge caiva dharmāraṇyanivāsinaḥ | viprāṃstānvai vṛṇuṣva tvaṃ taireva sādhako'dhvaraḥ
കൃതയുഗത്തിലും ത്രേതായുഗത്തിലും ധർമാരണ്യനിവാസികളായ ആ വിപ്രന്മാർ പ്രസിദ്ധരായിരുന്നു; അവരെയേ നിങ്ങൾ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുക, കാരണം അവരാൽ മാത്രമേ ഈ അധ്വരയജ്ഞം വിധിപൂർവ്വം സിദ്ധിക്കൂ।
