श्रीराम उवाच । का त्वं शुभे कस्य परिग्रहो वा केनावधूता विजने निरस्ता । मुष्टं धनं केन च तावकीनमाचक्ष्व मातः सकलं ममाग्रे
śrīrāma uvāca | kā tvaṃ śubhe kasya parigraho vā kenāvadhūtā vijane nirastā | muṣṭaṃ dhanaṃ kena ca tāvakīnamācakṣva mātaḥ sakalaṃ mamāgre
ശ്രീരാമൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ശുഭേ, നീ ആരാണ്? ആരുടെ ഭാര്യയാണ്? ആരാണ് നിന്നെ ഈ നിർജനസ്ഥാനത്ത് തള്ളിവിട്ട് ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചത്? ആരാണ് നിന്റെ മുഷ്ടിമാത്ര ധനം കവർന്നത്? ഹേ മാതാവേ, എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ എല്ലാം യഥാർത്ഥമായി പറയുക।
