जहासोच्चैस्तु सा सुभ्रः शतघ्नीं वज्रसन्निभा । एव मन्योन्यशस्त्रौघैरर्दयंतौ परस्परम्
jahāsoccaistu sā subhraḥ śataghnīṃ vajrasannibhā | eva manyonyaśastraughairardayaṃtau parasparam
അപ്പോൾ വജ്രസമമായ ശതഘ്നി ധരിച്ച ആ തേജോമയി, സുഭ്രൂ ദേവി ഉച്ചത്തിൽ ചിരിച്ചു. ഇങ്ങനെ ഇരുവരും പരസ്പരം ആയുധപ്രവാഹങ്ങൾ ചൊരിഞ്ഞ് തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ പീഡിപ്പിച്ചു।
