vighnaṃ kariṣye hi kathaṃ brāhmaṇānāṃ mahātmanām | vedādhyayanakartṝṇāṃ yajñe karmādhitiṣṭhatām

അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“വേദാധ്യയനത്തിൽ നിരതരും യജ്ഞകർമ്മത്തിൽ ദൃഢരുമായ ആ മഹാത്മ ബ്രാഹ്മണന്മാർക്ക് ഞാൻ എങ്ങനെ വിഘ്നം സൃഷ്ടിക്കും?”
