मार्गं त्यक्त्वा गतोऽरण्यं नरो विध्येत कण्टकैः । बलार्द्धिस्येत वा हिंस्रैर्यदा त्यक्तसमा गमः

mārgaṃ tyaktvā gato'raṇyaṃ naro vidhyeta kaṇṭakaiḥ | balārddhisyeta vā hiṃsrairyadā tyaktasamā gamaḥ

വഴി വിട്ട് കാട്ടിലേക്കുപോകുന്ന മനുഷ്യൻ മുള്ളാൽ കുത്തപ്പെടുകയോ ക്രൂരമൃഗങ്ങൾ കീറുകയോ ചെയ്യും; അതുപോലെ, സത്സംഗം/സമ്യക് സംഗതി ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുമ്പോൾ.
