पश्यंति दिविजाः सर्वे विमानस्थाः सकौतुकाः । अथेयमपि चांडाली वसनाशनतृष्णया
paśyaṃti divijāḥ sarve vimānasthāḥ sakautukāḥ | atheyamapi cāṃḍālī vasanāśanatṛṣṇayā
വിമാനങ്ങളിൽ ഇരുന്ന എല്ലാ ദേവന്മാരും കൗതുകത്തോടെ നോക്കി. അപ്പോൾ ആ ചാണ്ഡാലി സ്ത്രീയും വസ്ത്രവും ആഹാരവും എന്ന തൃഷ്ണയാൽ പ്രേരിതയായി പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
