एकं जघानं गोवत्सं क्रोशंतं निशि दुर्भगा । निहतं गृहमानीय ज्ञात्वा गोवत्समंगना

രാത്രിയിൽ കരഞ്ഞുകൂവുന്ന ഒരു ഗോവത്സത്തെ ആ ദുര്ഭാഗ്യവതി അടിച്ചു കൊന്നു. കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ട വത്സത്തെ വീട്ടിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന്, അത് ഗോവത്സമാണെന്ന് അവൾ തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞു.
