tatyajurgotrato dūraṃ gṛhītvā sakacagraham | saghaṭotsargamutsṛṣṭā sā nārī sarvabandhubhiḥ

അവർ അവളെ ഗോത്രത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ദൂരെയാക്കി ത്യജിച്ചു, അവളുടെ കേശ-ഗൃഹം (സാമാനങ്ങൾ) സഹിതം കൊണ്ടുപോയി; ഘടോത്സർഗം (ആചാരാനുസൃതമായ വിസർജനം) നടത്തി, എല്ലാ ബന്ധുക്കളും ആ സ്ത്രീയെ പുറത്താക്കി।
