iti prasādya deveśaṃ śabarī dṛḍhaniścayā | viveśa jvalitaṃ vahniṃ bhasmasādabhavatkṣaṇāt
Narrator (Purāṇic narrator, contextually Sūta/Lomaharṣaṇa)
Scene: Śabarī, steadfast and composed, stands before a roaring sacrificial-like fire; after offering prayers to Deveśa, she steps into the flames, which flare and then settle, leaving sacred ash (bhasma) as a sign of consummated offering.
Resolute surrender to God, performed with devotion and prayer for grace, is portrayed as spiritually transformative.
No tīrtha is identified in this verse; the focus is the act of devotion to Deveśa (Śiva).
Entry into a blazing fire is narrated as her chosen offering; it is not presented as a general injunction for all.
