इत्थं स्थिरां मतिं दृष्ट्वा तस्या भक्तिं च शंकरे । तथेति दृढसंकल्पः शबरः प्रत्यपूजयत्
itthaṃ sthirāṃ matiṃ dṛṣṭvā tasyā bhaktiṃ ca śaṃkare | tatheti dṛḍhasaṃkalpaḥ śabaraḥ pratyapūjayat
അവളുടെ അചഞ്ചലമായ തീരുമാനംയും ശങ്കരനോടുള്ള ദൃഢഭക്തിയും കണ്ടു, ദൃഢസങ്കൽപ്പനായ ശബരൻ ‘തഥാസ്തു’ എന്നു സമ്മതിച്ച് അവളുടെ തീരുമാനത്തെ ആദരിച്ചു।
