य एतद्भस्ममाहात्म्यं त्रिपुंड्रं शृणुयान्नरः । श्रावयेद्वा पठेद्वापि स हि याति परां गतिम्

ya etadbhasmamāhātmyaṃ tripuṃḍraṃ śṛṇuyānnaraḥ | śrāvayedvā paṭhedvāpi sa hi yāti parāṃ gatim

ഈ പവിത്ര ഭസ്മത്തിന്റെ മഹാത്മ്യവും ത്രിപുണ്ഡ്രവും ആരെങ്കിലും കേൾക്കുകയോ, മറ്റുള്ളവരെ കേൾപ്പിക്കുകയോ, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ വായിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്താൽ—അവൻ തീർച്ചയായും പരമഗതിയെ പ്രാപിക്കും।
