श्रीरुद्र उवाच । आग्नेयमुच्यते भस्म दग्धगोमयसंभवम् । तदेव द्रव्यमित्युक्तं त्रिपुंड्रस्य महामुने
śrīrudra uvāca | āgneyamucyate bhasma dagdhagomayasaṃbhavam | tadeva dravyamityuktaṃ tripuṃḍrasya mahāmune
ശ്രീരുദ്രൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ദഹിച്ച ഗോമയത്തിൽ നിന്നു ജനിക്കുന്ന ഭസ്മം ‘ആഗ്നേയം’ എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. ഹേ മഹാമുനേ, ത്രിപുണ്ഡ്രധാരണത്തിന് അതേ യുക്തമായ ദ്രവ്യമെന്നു പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു।
