तच्छवस्य बहिर्ग्रामा त्क्षिप्तस्य प्रेतकर्मणः । चचार सारमेयोंऽगे भस्मपादो यदृच्छया
tacchavasya bahirgrāmā tkṣiptasya pretakarmaṇaḥ | cacāra sārameyoṃ'ge bhasmapādo yadṛcchayā
അവന്റെ ശവം പ്രേതകർമ്മം ചെയ്യാതെ ഗ്രാമത്തിന് പുറത്തേക്ക് എറിഞ്ഞു. യദൃച്ഛയായി ഭസ്മം പുരണ്ട പാദങ്ങളുള്ള ഒരു നായ അവന്റെ ദേഹത്തിന്മേൽ അലഞ്ഞു നടന്നു.
