ऋषय ऊचुः । आख्यातं भवता सूत विष्णोर्माहात्म्यमुत्तमम् । समस्ताघहरं पुण्यं समसेन श्रुतं च नः
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | ākhyātaṃ bhavatā sūta viṣṇormāhātmyamuttamam | samastāghaharaṃ puṇyaṃ samasena śrutaṃ ca naḥ
ഋഷികൾ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ സൂതാ! നിങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് വിഷ്ണുവിന്റെ ഉത്തമമായ മഹാത്മ്യം ആഖ്യാനം ചെയ്തു; അത് പുണ്യപ്രദവും സർവപാപഹരവും ആകുന്നു. ഞങ്ങൾ അത് സമ്പൂർണ്ണമായി ശ്രവിച്ചു।
