varadānānmahābhāgā hyadhikā cocyate budhaiḥ | kāruṇyāntarabhāvena na mṛtā samupāgatā

വരദാനം നൽകുന്നതിനാൽ ആ മഹാഭാഗ്യവതി, പണ്ഡിതന്മാർക്കാൽ കൂടുതൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠയെന്നു പറയപ്പെടുന്നു. അന്തർഗത കരുണാഭാവം മൂലം അവൾ ‘മൃത’യായിട്ടില്ല—അഥവാ ക്ഷീണിച്ചോ ലുപ്തമായോിട്ടില്ല.
