कण्व उवाच । कस्मिन्स्थाने तु विप्रेन्द्र विद्यते मृगलोचना । कस्य सा केन कार्येण सर्वमेतद्वदाशु मे
kaṇva uvāca | kasminsthāne tu viprendra vidyate mṛgalocanā | kasya sā kena kāryeṇa sarvametadvadāśu me
കണ്വൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ വിപ്രേന്ദ്രാ! ആ മൃഗനേത്രി ഏത് സ്ഥലത്താണ് ഉള്ളത്? അവൾ ആരുടേതാണ്, ഏതു കാര്യാർത്ഥം ഇവിടെ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു? എല്ലാം എനിക്കു വേഗം പറയുക.
