ततः सीतां समासाद्य समं वानरपुंगवैः । रामोऽप्ययोध्यामायातो भरतेन कृतोत्सवः । तस्मै समर्पयामास स राज्यं लक्ष्मणाग्रजः

tataḥ sītāṃ samāsādya samaṃ vānarapuṃgavaiḥ | rāmo'pyayodhyāmāyāto bharatena kṛtotsavaḥ | tasmai samarpayāmāsa sa rājyaṃ lakṣmaṇāgrajaḥ

പിന്നീട് സീതയെ വീണ്ടെടുത്തു, വാനരശ്രേഷ്ഠന്മാരോടൊപ്പം രാമനും അയോധ്യയിൽ എത്തി; അവിടെ ഭരതൻ ഉത്സവം ഒരുക്കിയിരുന്നു; ലക്ഷ്മണന്റെ അഗ്രജനായ രാമൻ രാജ്യം ഭരതനു സമർപ്പിച്ചു।
