श्रीमार्कण्डेय उवाच । एतद्वृत्तान्तमभवत्तस्मिंस्तीर्थे नृपोत्तम । एतस्मात्कारणान्मेध्यं तीर्थमेतत्सदा नृप

ശ്രീ മാർകണ്ഡേയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ നൃപോത്തമാ, ഈ സമസ്ത വൃത്താന്തവും ആ തീർത്ഥത്തിൽ തന്നെയായിരുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട്, ഹേ രാജാവേ, ഈ തീർത്ഥം സദാ മേധ്യം, ശുദ്ധവും പാവനകരവും ആകുന്നു.
