Transliteration

kanyovāca | iccheyaṃ yatra kāle hi tatra deyā tvayā pituḥ | putrīvākyādasau rājā vismito vākyamabravīt

Translation

കന്യ പറഞ്ഞു—‘പിതാവേ, ഞാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന സമയത്തുതന്നെ നീ എന്നെ വിവാഹത്തിന് നൽകണം.’ മകളുടെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട് രാജാവ് വിസ്മയത്തോടെ മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു.
