ततोऽहं तस्य पक्षान्ते प्रलीनस्तु भ्रमञ्जले । काले युगसाहस्रान्ते अश्रान्तोऽर्णवमध्यगः
tato'haṃ tasya pakṣānte pralīnastu bhramañjale | kāle yugasāhasrānte aśrānto'rṇavamadhyagaḥ
അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ അവന്റെ ചിറകിന്റെ അറ്റത്ത് ലീനനായി നിന്നു; ജലം ചുഴലിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. സഹസ്രയുഗാന്തകാലത്തിലും ഞാൻ ക്ഷീണമില്ലാതെ സമുദ്രമദ്ധ്യേ നിലകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
