श्रीमार्कण्डेय उवाच । सर्वलक्षणसम्पूर्णे वृषे चैव तु यत्फलम् । तदहं सम्प्रवक्ष्यामि शृणुष्व धर्मनन्दन

ശ്രീ മാർക്കണ്ഡേയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—സകല ശുഭലക്ഷണങ്ങളാലും സമ്പന്നമായ വൃഷഭത്തെ വൃഷോത്സർഗമായി വിട്ടാൽ ലഭിക്കുന്ന ഫലം ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു; ധർമനന്ദനേ, കേൾക്കുക।
