देवस्तु दक्षिणामाशां गतश्चैवोमया सह । भयभीतो निरीक्षेत ग्रीवां भज्य पुनःपुनः
devastu dakṣiṇāmāśāṃ gataścaivomayā saha | bhayabhīto nirīkṣeta grīvāṃ bhajya punaḥpunaḥ
എന്നാൽ ഭഗവാൻ ഉമയോടുകൂടെ ദക്ഷിണ ദിക്കിലേക്കു പോയി. ഭയത്താൽ അവൻ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും പിന്നോട്ടു നോക്കി, കഴുത്ത് ആവർത്തിച്ച് തിരിച്ചു നോക്കി.
