क्रुद्धैर्देवसमूहैश्च दानवा निहता रणे । तेषां शिरांसि संगृह्य सर्वे देवाः सवासवाः
kruddhairdevasamūhaiśca dānavā nihatā raṇe | teṣāṃ śirāṃsi saṃgṛhya sarve devāḥ savāsavāḥ
ക്രുദ്ധരായ ദേവസമൂഹങ്ങൾ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ദാനവരെ വധിച്ചു. അവരുടെ ശിരസ്സുകൾ ശേഖരിച്ച്, വാസവൻ (ഇന്ദ്രൻ) ഉൾപ്പെടെ എല്ലാ ദേവന്മാരും (അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തു).
