नार्युवाच । अद्य चैकादशी पुण्या सर्वपापक्षयंकरी । उपोषिता सकृद्येन नाकप्राप्तिं करोति सा
nāryuvāca | adya caikādaśī puṇyā sarvapāpakṣayaṃkarī | upoṣitā sakṛdyena nākaprāptiṃ karoti sā
സ്ത്രീ പറഞ്ഞു—ഇന്ന് പുണ്യമായ ഏകാദശി; അത് സർവ്വപാപനാശിനി. ആരെങ്കിലും ഈ ദിവസം ഒരിക്കൽ പോലും ഉപവസിച്ചാൽ, അവന് സ്വർഗ്ഗപ്രാപ്തി ലഭിക്കും.
