Transliteration

bhāryāyā vacanaṃ śrutvā jagrāha kumudāni saḥ | uttīrṇastu taṭe yāvaddṛṣṭvā śrīvṛkṣamagrataḥ

Translation

ഭാര്യയുടെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട് അവൻ കുമുദപ്പൂക്കൾ ശേഖരിച്ചു. പിന്നെ കരയിൽ കയറിയപ്പോൾ മുന്നിൽ ഒരു ശ്രീവൃക്ഷം (മംഗളവൃക്ഷം) കണ്ടു.
