न शक्नोति यदा वोढुं विश्राम्यति पुनःपुनः । तावत्पश्यति तं विप्रं मूर्छितं विकलेन्द्रियम्
na śaknoti yadā voḍhuṃ viśrāmyati punaḥpunaḥ | tāvatpaśyati taṃ vipraṃ mūrchitaṃ vikalendriyam
അവന് ഭാരമേറ്റു കൊണ്ടുപോകാൻ കഴിയാതെ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും വിശ്രമിക്കുമ്പോൾ, ആ ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ മൂർച്ചിതനായി ഇന്ദ്രിയങ്ങൾ ക്ഷീണിച്ച നിലയിൽ കിടക്കുന്നതു അവൻ കണ്ടു।
