तां दृष्ट्वा देवदैत्येन्द्रा मोहिता लभते कथम् । मृगयन्ति स्म तां कन्यामितश्चेतश्च भारत

tāṃ dṛṣṭvā devadaityendrā mohitā labhate katham | mṛgayanti sma tāṃ kanyāmitaścetaśca bhārata

അവളെ കണ്ട ദേവദൈത്യേന്ദ്രന്മാർ മോഹിതരായി ‘എങ്ങനെ അവളെ ലഭിക്കാം?’ എന്നു ചിന്തിച്ചു; ഹേ ഭാരത, അവർ ആ കന്യയെ ഇങ്ങും അങ്ങും തേടിത്തുടങ്ങി।
