आयुधानि ततस्त्यक्त्वा बाहुयुद्धमुपस्थितौ । करं करेण संगृह्य प्रहरन्तौ स्वमुष्टिभिः । रणप्रयोगैर्युध्यन्तौ युयुधाते शिवान्धकौ
āyudhāni tatastyaktvā bāhuyuddhamupasthitau | karaṃ kareṇa saṃgṛhya praharantau svamuṣṭibhiḥ | raṇaprayogairyudhyantau yuyudhāte śivāndhakau
അതിനുശേഷം അവർ ആയുധങ്ങൾ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് കൈയാങ്കളിയിലേർപ്പെട്ടു. കൈ കൈയിൽ പിടിച്ച്, സ്വന്തം മുഷ്ടികളാൽ പ്രഹരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടും യുദ്ധപ്രയോഗങ്ങൾ വിനിയോഗിച്ചുകൊണ്ടും ശിവനും അന്ധകനും പോരാട്ടം തുടർന്നു।
