देवा ऊचुः । अन्धकाख्यो महादैत्यो बलवान् पद्मसम्भव । तेन देवगणाः सर्वे धनरत्नैर्वियोजिताः
devā ūcuḥ | andhakākhyo mahādaityo balavān padmasambhava | tena devagaṇāḥ sarve dhanaratnairviyojitāḥ
ദേവന്മാർ പറഞ്ഞു—“ഹേ പദ്മസംഭവാ, അന്ധകൻ എന്ന പേരുള്ള ശക്തനായ മഹാദൈത്യൻ ഉണ്ട്. അവൻ മൂലം എല്ലാ ദേവഗണങ്ങളും ധനവും രത്നങ്ങളും നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു।”
