देवस्य वचनं श्रुत्वा सोऽन्धको विमनाः स्थितः । वृथा क्लेशश्च मे जातो न किंचित्साधितं मया
devasya vacanaṃ śrutvā so'ndhako vimanāḥ sthitaḥ | vṛthā kleśaśca me jāto na kiṃcitsādhitaṃ mayā
ദേവന്റെ വചനം കേട്ട് അന്ധകൻ മനസ്സുതളർന്ന് നിന്നു. “എന്റെ ക്ലേശം വ്യർത്ഥമായി; ഞാൻ ഒന്നും സാധിച്ചില്ല” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
