प्रत्युवाच प्रसन्नोऽसौ देवदेवो महेश्वरः । भोभोः कष्टं कृतं भीमं दारुणं लोमहर्षणम्
pratyuvāca prasanno'sau devadevo maheśvaraḥ | bhobhoḥ kaṣṭaṃ kṛtaṃ bhīmaṃ dāruṇaṃ lomaharṣaṇam
പ്രസന്നനായ ദേവദേവൻ മഹേശ്വരൻ പറഞ്ഞു— “അയ്യോ അയ്യോ! നീ ഭീകരവും ദാരുണവും രോമഹർഷകരവുമായ കഠിന കഷ്ടം ഏറ്റെടുത്തു।”
