ते यान्ति परमं लोकं तत्र तीर्थे न संशयः । पातालान्निःसृता गङ्गा भोगवतीतिसंज्ञिता
te yānti paramaṃ lokaṃ tatra tīrthe na saṃśayaḥ | pātālānniḥsṛtā gaṅgā bhogavatītisaṃjñitā
അവർ ആ തീർത്ഥത്തിന്റെ മഹിമയാൽ പരമ ലോകത്തെ പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു—ഇതിൽ സംശയമില്ല. പാതാളത്തിൽ നിന്നു ഉദ്ഭവിച്ച ഗംഗാധാര ‘ഭോഗവതീ’ എന്ന നാമത്തിൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു।
