तल्लब्ध्वा मदमात्सर्यं यो वै त्यजति मानवः । संनियम्य सदात्मानं ज्ञानचक्षुर्नरो हि सः
tallabdhvā madamātsaryaṃ yo vai tyajati mānavaḥ | saṃniyamya sadātmānaṃ jñānacakṣurnaro hi saḥ
ആ ദുർലഭമായ മനുഷ്യജന്മം ലഭിച്ചിട്ട്, അഹങ്കാരവും അസൂയയും സത്യമായി ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച്, ആത്മാവിനെ നിത്യം നിയന്ത്രിച്ച് അന്തർശാസനത്തോടെ ജീവിക്കുന്നവൻ—അവൻ തന്നെയാണ് ജ്ഞാനചക്ഷുസ്സുള്ള മനുഷ്യൻ.
