भूमौ भ्रमन्ती भ्रातुः सा समीपमगमच्छनैः । चचार च तपः सोऽपि परलोकसुखेप्सया

bhūmau bhramantī bhrātuḥ sā samīpamagamacchanaiḥ | cacāra ca tapaḥ so'pi paralokasukhepsayā

ഭൂമിയിൽ അലഞ്ഞുതിരിഞ്ഞ അവൾ പതുക്കെ സഹോദരന്റെ സമീപത്തെത്തി; അവനും പരലോകസുഖം ആഗ്രഹിച്ച് തപസ്സു അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു।
