देवराज नमस्तेऽस्तु महाभूतभयान्नृप । कम्पमानोऽब्रवीद्विप्रो रक्षस्वेति पुनःपुनः
devarāja namaste'stu mahābhūtabhayānnṛpa | kampamāno'bravīdvipro rakṣasveti punaḥpunaḥ
ഹേ ദേവരാജാ, നമസ്കാരം. ആ മഹാഭൂതഭയത്തിൽ വിറച്ച ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും പറഞ്ഞു—“എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കണമേ.”
