पिप्पलाद उवाच । अद्यप्रभृति बालानां वर्षादा षोडशाद्ग्रह । पीडा त्वया न कर्तव्या एष ते समयः कृतः
pippalāda uvāca | adyaprabhṛti bālānāṃ varṣādā ṣoḍaśādgraha | pīḍā tvayā na kartavyā eṣa te samayaḥ kṛtaḥ
പിപ്പലാദൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“ഇന്നുമുതൽ, ഹേ ഗ്രഹമേ, ഒരു വയസ്സുമുതൽ പതിനാറു വയസ്സുവരെയുള്ള ബാലരെ നീ പീഡിപ്പിക്കരുത്. ഇതാണ് നിനക്കായി നിശ്ചയിച്ച നിയമം.”
