एवं स वर्धितस्तत्र कुमारो निजचेतसि । चिन्तयामास विश्रब्धः किं मम ग्रहगोचरम्
evaṃ sa vardhitastatra kumāro nijacetasi | cintayāmāsa viśrabdhaḥ kiṃ mama grahagocaram
ഇങ്ങനെ അവിടെ വളർത്തപ്പെട്ട ആ കുമാരൻ തന്റെ ചിത്തത്തിൽ ശാന്തനായി ചിന്തിച്ചു തുടങ്ങി—“എന്റെ മേൽ ഏത് ഗ്രഹഗോചരമാണ്? എന്റെ വിധിയെ ഏത് പ്രഭാവം നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നു?”
