Sages (collective ṛṣis addressing Śiva)
Tirtha: Revā-tīrtha (general)
Type: ghat
Scene: A sacred liṅga lies fallen or displaced near a riverbank; agitated sages stand around, their faces stern yet compassionate, addressing Mahādeva about the disrupted worship-worthiness.
Sacred worship requires proper condition and dharmic order; disrespect or disturbance can render an object unfit until restored by right means.
The verse is doctrinal within the Revā-khaṇḍa frame; it does not single out a named tīrtha but supports Śaiva sacred geography generally.
An implicit rule is stated: a fallen liṅga is not to be worshiped as-is; restoration/reconsecration is implied though not detailed here.
