जगामाकाशमाविश्य पूज्यमानो निशाचरैः । तदा प्रभृति तत्तीर्थं मेघनादेति विश्रुतम्
jagāmākāśamāviśya pūjyamāno niśācaraiḥ | tadā prabhṛti tattīrthaṃ meghanādeti viśrutam
അവൻ ആകാശത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ച് പുറപ്പെട്ടു, നിശാചരന്മാർ പൂജിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കെ. അന്നുമുതൽ ആ തീർത്ഥം ‘മേഘനാദ തീർത്ഥം’ എന്നു പ്രസിദ്ധമായി.
