मम संनिहितो नित्यं गृहे तिष्ठतु पावकः । ददामि रुचिरापाङ्गीं नान्यथा करवाणि वै
mama saṃnihito nityaṃ gṛhe tiṣṭhatu pāvakaḥ | dadāmi rucirāpāṅgīṃ nānyathā karavāṇi vai
'അഗ്നിദേവൻ എൻ്റെ ഭവനത്തിൽ നിത്യവും വസിക്കട്ടെ. സുന്ദരമായ കണ്ണുകളുള്ള എൻ്റെ മകളെ ഞാൻ നൽകുന്നു; ഞാൻ മറിച്ചൊന്നും ചെയ്യില്ല.'
