ईश्वर उवाच । वरं वृणीष्व भद्रं ते वरदोऽहं तवानघ । यमिच्छसि ददाम्यद्य नात्र कार्या विचारणा
īśvara uvāca | varaṃ vṛṇīṣva bhadraṃ te varado'haṃ tavānagha | yamicchasi dadāmyadya nātra kāryā vicāraṇā
ഈശ്വരൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ഹേ അനഘാ! നിനക്കു മംഗളം വരട്ടെ. വരം തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുക; ഞാൻ നിന്റെ വരദാതാവാണ്. നീ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നതു ഇന്ന് തന്നെ നൽകുന്നു; ഇവിടെ ആലോചന വേണ്ട।
