Transliteration

gṛhānunmūlayāmāsa vṛkṣajātīnanekaśaḥ | bhūmikampāḥ sanirghātā ulkāpātāḥ sahasraśaḥ

Translation

അത് വീടുകളെ പിഴുതെറിഞ്ഞു; അനേകം തരത്തിലുള്ള വൃക്ഷജാതികളെയും വേരോടെ ഉന്മൂലനം ചെയ്തു. ഇടിമുഴക്കത്തോടുകൂടി ഭൂകമ്പങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടായി; ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് ഉൽക്കാപാതങ്ങൾ സംഭവിച്ചു.
