बाण उवाच । ब्रह्मपुत्रं सतेजस्कं दुःसहं दुरतिक्रमम् । प्रवेशय महाभागं किमर्थं वारितो बहिः
bāṇa uvāca | brahmaputraṃ satejaskaṃ duḥsahaṃ duratikramam | praveśaya mahābhāgaṃ kimarthaṃ vārito bahiḥ
ബാണൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“ബ്രഹ്മപുത്രൻ തേജസ്സുള്ളവൻ, ദുർദ്ധർഷൻ, ദുർലഘ്യൻ. ഹേ മഹാഭാഗാ, അദ്ദേഹത്തെ അകത്ത് പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്ക; എന്തിന് പുറത്തു തടഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു?”
