na tatra dṛśyate kiṃcitpatedyatra puratrayam | nadyo grāmāśca deśāśca bahavo bhasmasātkṛtāḥ

പുരത്രയം (ത്രിപുരം) എവിടെ പതിക്കുമോ, അവിടെ ഒന്നും ശേഷിച്ചതായി കാണപ്പെടില്ല; അനേകം നദികളും ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും ദേശങ്ങളും ഭസ്മമാകും.
