त्रिपुरं ब्रह्मणा सृष्टं भ्रमत्तत्कामगामि च । तस्यैव तु बलोत्कृष्टास्त्रिपुरे दानवाः स्थिताः
tripuraṃ brahmaṇā sṛṣṭaṃ bhramattatkāmagāmi ca | tasyaiva tu balotkṛṣṭāstripure dānavāḥ sthitāḥ
ബ്രഹ്മാവ് സൃഷ്ടിച്ച ത്രിപുരം ഇഷ്ടാനുസാരം ഭ്രമണം ചെയ്യുന്നവയായിരുന്നു. അതേ ത്രിപുരത്തിനുള്ളിൽ അവനുടേതായ അത്യന്തം ബലവാന്മാരായ ദാനവർ പാർത്തു।
